Chopwell AST

This project contains before and after shots of both the kitchen & bathroom. The property was an ex-rental properety vacated after many years. As seen in the before photographs the washing machine had been leaking for many years causing damp and mould in two of the walls as well as damaging the laminated floor. Ther landlords answer to this problem was to screw down the warping floor rather than resolve the problem.

We stripped the property of everything and painted ther property top to bottom, replaced the aging boiler with an A+ rated boiler, replaced radiators, added a room thermostat and thermostatic radiator valves for the whole house and built a utility area so the new tenants could close the door on domestic tasks.

The bathroom and kitchen floor was tiled with 600 x 300 ceramic tiles in a visually pleasing herringbone pattern, then both a new kitchen with appliances along with a new bathroom suite was fitted with plastic cladding attached to the bathroom walls and metro tiles fitted in the kitchen.

The property was photographed by ourselves and the property rented for 10% more than camparable properties in the surrounding area.
